Human reproduction is any form of sexual reproduction resulting in the conception of a child, typically involving sexual intercourse between aman and awo ma n.

The female reproductive system likewise contains two main divisions: the vagina andut er us,which act as the receptacle for the semen, and theo var ies, which produce the female’so va. Thevagina is attached to the uterus through the cervix, while the uterus is attached to the ovariesv iathe Fallopian tubes. At certain intervals, the ovaries release an ovum, which passes through the fallopian tube into the uterus.

Pregnancy is the period of time during which the fetus develops, dividing viamit o s is inside the female. During this time, the fetus receives all of itsnut r it io n and oxygenated blood from the female, filtered through thepla ce nt a, which is attached to the fetus’a bdo me n via anu mbi l ica lcord.

Once the fetus is sufficiently developed, chemical signals start the process of birth, which begins with the fetus squeezing through the vagina, and eventually out of the female. The newborn, which is called anin fa nt in humans, should typically beginr esp ir at io n on its own shortly after birth.

Human’s babies and children are nearly helpless and require high levels of parental care for many years.

Infertility or reproductive problems are often treatable. Most people aren’t aware that male infertility is as common as female infertility.
